This position reports directly to the Director of IT and Data Management and will be responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the Security Department including oversight of contract security staff, visitor management, network security and security program implementation. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, a quick learner and someone that has a high attention to detail. This individual should have the ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing, fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Training, supervision, and scheduling of all contract security personnel
Respond to and follow up on all security related incidents
Promote the culture, work ethic, and company goals, with the contract security personnel
Coordinates daily operational and administrative security procedures
Maintains security response procedures and Emergency Management Plan
Issues required weekly, monthly and annual security reports to management team
Address employee security requests, questions and concerns
Daily review of security incidents and follows up with appropriate departments
Coordinates with IT department regarding all electronic security system software and hardware
24/7 on-call emergency responder for all electronic security system technical problems, troubleshooting and repairs
Programs and configures electronic card readers, cameras, alarms, and control modules
Maintains and troubleshoots hardware, software, systems, and user account credentials.
When tasked, conducts detailed data and video investigations.
Maintenance and housekeeping of security network and video-archives on company network
Coordination of all visitor management operations, systems and processes
Oversee lobby/reception operations including training of contract security personnel
Provides ongoing training to all employees in processing new and existing visitors
Ensures a positive impression and visit experience for all clients and other visitors
Bachelor degree or associates with excellent experience.
CISSP certification required.
3 + years in implementing security policies and procedures, implementing organizational requirements, solutions
Computer Skills: Security software: alarm and video management, group policy management, PowerShell, Active Directory, Microsoft Office.
The language skills required but are not limited to the ability to read and implement documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, software manuals, study documents, and procedure manuals. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence, the ability to speak effectively before groups of internal and external customers.
Basic to intermediate math skills.
Ability to work holiday, weekend and evening hours as needed.
